ZT-155, ZT-155 U

The transformer units type ZT-155 and ZT-155U are manufactured in flameproof housings and equipped with the main transformer for 5.5kVA power rating. The units are equipped with two independent contactor circuits (outputs) and make it possible to supply e.g. lighting installations with single-phase voltage of 133V or 230V. Voltage change of the transformer unit primary side (500V or 1000V) and secondary one is performed by a user during its installation. Depending on the type, the relays used make it possible to control the unit by connecting the standard control circuit (Roff < 600 Ω) and „low ohm" circuit (Roff < 100 Ω). The control is also possible by using manipulators mounted on the transformer unit housing.

Application

Transformer units are assigned for feeding electric mining tools and lighting circuits with a decreased three-phase voltage of 133V or 230 V.
Transformers units meet to requirements of the European Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX) for equipment in group I, category M2, and can be used in methane and coal dust exsplosion hazardous areas of underground mines.

Design

The tranformers units are made in a flameproof housing. Devices are fitted with protective devices against:
  • short circuits,
  • load asymmetry,
  • overload,
  • main channel low insulation resistance,
  • short circuits, high resistance and control circuit interruptions,
  • high earthing resistance
  • incorrect power voltage phase sequence (optionally).
